Snow Photography

We have had half a foot of snow dumped overnight in Bath, which makes a nice change from the norm. So I grabbed my camera and went for a short walk. The light was problamatic – very flat and a band of cloud was obscuring the sunlight. The sun did peek out momentarily, but you had to be quick.

As snow is notoriously difficult to photograph, I decided to use AEB – (Automatic Exposure Bracketing) by +/- 1 stop and created HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos.

I’m still practicing HDR but here are my results.
